DRIVING DIRECTIONS From Denver International Airport: 1.            Exit the airport, and take Pena Boulevard to I-70 West (10 miles) 2.            Follow I-70 West to Vail exit 176 (109 miles) 3.            At the end of the off-ramp, enter the roundabout, and take it all the way around and under the interstate. 4.            At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto south Frontage Road. If you are approaching on I-70 Eastbound simply take the third right off of the roundabout at the bottom of the ramp for exit 176 onto South Frontage Rd. Go past the Vail Parking structure and take a right onto Vail Valley Drive. Take your second right onto Hanson Ranch Rd. At the corner of Hanson Ranch Road, turn right onto Hanson Ranch Chute. There is a stop sign just past Troy's Ski Shop (which is on your left). At the stop sign turn right and the garage entrance with outdoor keypad is almost immediately on the right. Walking from Founders: When you are at street level – you will be heading west towards the village and the pedestrian area.  When you see the large fountain, take a right – the Red Lion Bar and Restaurant will be on your right. After the Red Lion there is a gated door.  This is your wonderful vacation spot for the next few days. VERY IMPORTANT - if you are driving to the unit to unload luggage you must go through Checkpoint Charlie and tell them that you are renting the penthouse at the Red Lion. They will give you a permit to unload luggage, groceries etc.  Directions to CHECKPOINT CHARLIE: Take Exit 176 off I-70 and follow Vail Rd straight around to Gore Creek Drive. Check Point Charlie will be right after Willow Rd. CHECK-IN - 4 p.m. – We try and allow early check-in’s when possible. If we cannot, please park your car in the Vail parking structure. CHECK-OUT - 10 a.m. – We usually are not able to accommodate late checkouts. We ask that you park your car in the Vail structure if you are staying past checkout time. PARKING We have one dedicated parking spot in the Founders garage near by. DESCRIPTION This home features 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen including a wine fridge 2 Master suites including one on the main floor Media area with wrap around leather sofa and 80 inch flat screen TV 4 bedrooms each having private bathroom and flat screen TV Private roof top hot tub with the most amazing mountain views Right at the base of Gondola One in Vail Village Laundry room with washer and dryer Hot Tub Private roof top hot tub. There are instructions for making sure the door is locked behind you when you come back in. There is NO smoking allowed on the roof top or near the hot tub. Please use one of the colorful beach towels provided. AC/Central Heating Please see reference instructions inside the unit. Oven/Range Wolf gas range and two wall ovens. Also a Wolf microwave Coffee Machine/Espresso Machine Nespresso Machine and beginning supply pods provided Fireplace Instructions on fireplace, but please allow 30 seconds to turn on. Television We use dish network and have many wonderful channels Cleaning Supplies Added housekeeping can be arranged. We have basic cleaning supplies in the unit Smoke Detectors Please do not tamper or touch the smoke detectors Refrigerator The left side is the fridge and has filtered water. The right side is the freezer section and has ice cubes. Weather As we are in the mountains, our weather can change quickly. Best advice is to pack layers and for different temperatures. Restaurants One of our favorite local restaurants is Mountain Standard especially for lunch. Many clients like the sister restaurant which is Sweet Basil Local Activities Vail is wonderful for activities. In winter we have everything from skiing, snow shoeing, cross country, snowmobiling and more. Summer is a time for biking, hiking, fishing, golfing. All of which is very close by. Local Transportation Vail has the town shuttle which goes around from Cascade, to Lionshead, the Village and Goldenpeak. There is also the Vail bus which will take you to East Vail, West Vail and the Golf Course. We also have taxi’s and Uber.
