Millrace HOA Open Network WIFI – Millrace Condo (unlocked) Thank you for choosing to vacation at Millrace in Cascade Village! To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, please review the following info- Parking - There is parking for two cars in front of the garage or in spaces next to the pool/hot tub/sauna common area. Be sure not to block the neighbor’s driveway. Be careful to keep vehicles away from roof lines due to falling ice and snow. Please do not leave the garage door left open for any length of time, the garage is heated and there are water pipes that can freeze attached to the washing machine. Or, valet parking in the resort garage is available on request with applied fees. Skis and snowboards- Venture Sports, conveniently located at the Grand Hyatt adjacent to chair lift #20, is an easy place to rent and store ski and snowboard equipment. If you brought your personal equipment, you may store it in the garage or at Venture Sports. Keys – There is one key inside the front door lock box (press 9842 and push button down) and two keys inside the unit for your use. Once you are inside the unit, please return the lock box key. Fireplace – This unit’s fireplace is electric with heated blowers. The controller is on the right wall facing the fireplace. Simply push the bottom button for the amount time you want the fireplace turned on. To turn the fireplace off, push the same button until it turns off. Heating – Thermostats are located on the walls in the living room/dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and garage. The bedrooms can get very warm in the winter and lowering the thermostats to 50-60 degrees or even turned off make for a very comfortable nights sleep. Humidifiers – These are stored in the living room and each bedroom. Colorado has low humidity and these may help to keep you more comfortable. Television – Television service is provided by Comcast/Xfinity. There is one TV in the living room and one TV in each bedroom. To operate the TVs (Living room must be set on HDMI 2), use the Roku remote control provided in that room: 1. Push the on button 2. Push the home button 3. Scroll with the purple button and press “OK” to enter. TV channels can be found on Xfinity or Peacock. There are steaming applications such as Hulu, Netflix, Amazon and others. You may choose to log into these streaming applications if you have an account. *The LG remote is for input only and should not be used. Input is set on HDMI 2. Trash/Recycling- Containers are located in a garage near the Westhaven Drive entrance. Trash and recycling bins are clearly labeled. The keypad code for the door is 33333. Please ensure the door is firmly closed as bears frequently attempt to access trash. Toiletries- We supply the initial personal size shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, body wash and lotion. If you have not purchased any daily service, these supplies will not be replenished during your stay. Laundry- The appliances are in the unit’s garage. A handy door from the guest bathroom makes for easy access to the garage from the unit. There are operating instructions adjacent to the machines. Use HE detergent ONLY. Please ensure that the lint screen of the dryer is cleaned between each cycle. Pool & Hot-Tub- The outdoor hot tub, cold plunge pool (please note the cold plunge pool is only open during the summer) and sauna are in the Millrace common area just outside from the unit. Please return any pool towels to the sauna building near the hot tub. There is a bathroom inside the sauna building as well. Further, there is a seasonal natural gas firepit and BBQ grill for your enjoyment. Grilling – There is a propane gas grill located on the balcony of the unit. There is an extra propane tank upon request. Remember to always open the lid before turning on the propane gas valve. A push button electric start will ignite the gas once the propane tank valve is opened and the left control knob is turned to “light”. There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink. Grilling pans and utensils are located inside the grill’s storage cabinet. Pets- No pets allowed. Departure- When it's time for you to depart, please be sure to – 1. Leave two sets of keys inside the unit and ensure the key is placed back inside the front door lock-box, and, 2. leave all used towels and linens on the bathroom floors Contact- If you need anything inside the condo, or have questions, call Rentvail at 866.823. 7368 We certainly hope you enjoy your stay in our mountain home!
