WELCOME TO SANDSTONE CHALET To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, please review the following info: 1179 Sandstone Dr Vail, CO 81657 Front Door Lock Box -2939 Garage code –50000 PARKING- You can park 2 car in the garage and 3 additional cars outside on the driveway. KEYS- The lock box is located is located to the right of the front door, the code is 2939 PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES BEFORE YOU ENTER THE HOME Internet Access name- NAME – VAIL HOUSE PW – quickboat953 ELEVATOR- Use the elevator for bringing your bags up to and from the bedrooms. This helps to keep from scratching the walls. Both gates and the door need to be closed for the elevator to work. It works well to load the elevator with your bags, then walk up to your floor and call the elevator. MAXIMUM LOAD OF THREE ADULTS IN THE ELEVATOR. TOILETRIES- We supply the initial personal size shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, body wash and lotion, if you have not purchased any daily service these supplies will not be replenished during your stay. TRASH- Trash pick-up is Tuesday, Please separate trash from recycle and put in the appropriate cans in the garage. The trash cans need to be at the curb by 8am. LAUNDRY- There is three sets of washer/dryers located in the home. PLEASE leave the door open and turn the fan on. Once you use the washing machine please also leave open, so it dries. (Laundry detergent is not provided) THERMOSTATES- Every room has a thermostat. Bedrooms are set at 65, Great room at 68. It is hydronic heat in the floors and responds very slowly if you set a different temperature. There is no air conditioning, open the windows or sliding glass doors if it gets too warm. HOT-TUB- PLEASE NO GLASS ITEMS OUTSIDE AT THE HOT TUB, PLASTIC ONLY!!! When you arrive check to make sure the temperature up to 101. After each use, put a capful of ENHANCED SHOCK in the tub and push the CLEAN BUTTON. All chemicals are stored in the laundry room above the sink on the same level as the hot tub. The cover is heavy and requires two people to open. The first flap must go over the railing in order to fully open the top. Push the JETS button once for low circulation, three times for max circulation, 6 times to shut off. KITCHEN- The kitchen is fully stocked, Make sure the warming drawers under the cook top are off each night. There are 2 coffee makers, one in the lower level and kitchen both are stamdard drip. DISHWASHER- Self-explanatory, use the pods provided. SMOKING- Our home is a NON SMOKING home. Please refrain from smoking anywhere inside the home. If you smoke out on the decks, please be very careful where you dispose of cigarette butts, as the risk of fire is very high in the mountains... PETS- Sorry, but pets are NOT welcome. SKI AND SNOWBOARDS- NO SKIS, BOOTS OR POLES IN THE HOUSE. LEAVE SKIS AND POLES IN THE GARAGE. LEAVE ALL SKI BOOTS IN THE ENTRYWAY/BOOT DRYER. Also please REMOVE ALL SHOES at the front door. DRIVEWAY SNOW REMOVAL- The driveway is heated. FIREPLACE- The Living Room has a switch against the wall to the right of the TV cabnit. TV- The home has internet TV. The ROKU remote turns both the TV and ROKU on. Select the home button. The rest is self-explanatory. If you have trouble, just go skiing or jump into bed. You’re not out here to watch TV. Use the Taotronics Remote for sound. The AUDIO/AUX light on the center speaker must be on in order to get sound. You may have to push the power button on the speaker several times to get the audio/aux light illuminated on the speaker. Push the plus minus buttons on the remote for volume level. Gas Grill- Large grill on the east deck off the living room. SURROUNDINGS- The walk to the town of Vails free shuttle is a 5 minute walk from the house, the bus name you will ride is SANDSTONE. A gorgeous 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom vacation home in Vail, the Sandstone Chalet is located across the highway from Vail Resort and Village. The Chalet is also just a short walk from the bus stop with easy access to the mountain for skiing.  The upstairs main living area is very spacious with plenty of seating for the whole family. The gourmet kitchen is tucked away next to the main living area, and features a stove with built in griddle, tons of counter space, a separate prep sink with butcher block attached and a double oven. Close by, you will find a separate bar area with a beverage fridge.  There is even a small built in desk should you need to complete some work while visiting the Vail Valley. The dining room table is surround by large windows and has seating for 8. The beautiful master bedroom has a king-sized bed and plenty of windows to enjoy the breathtaking views of Vail Valley, as well as access to a spacious master bathroom with a large soaking tub & spacious separte shower. The master is located on it's own level which provides privacy from the rest of the home. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. A third bedroom, with Queen bed,  is located on this same level and each have access to their own bathrooms The fourth and fifth bedrooms are located on the lower level and share a bathroom.   Also on this lower level is a second living area with small kitchen and access to a second spacious deck. The Sandstone Chalet has access to a private hot tub on the upper deck, a table for dining al fresco, and additional seating for just relaxing and taking in the view all around. This Vail vacation home also has a unique heated garage, as well as an elevator between all of the floors.
