A Honey Bear Hideaway is a four bedroom, three bath cabin for a great retreat for one or two families, with two separate entrances and insulation between the two levels for privacy. Upstairs has two bedrooms with private baths along with den, kitchen and laundry. Downstairs has two bedrooms with one large bath, and kitchenette that includes wet bar, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. Rec room with a large couch, game table, custom made log pool table, and a 48” flat screen. Both levels open onto a large deck which spans the width of the house and looks over the mountains. The decks have seating for 8, including brand new 6 person patio sets and 2 rocking chairs each. All bedrooms, stairs and bottom level have brand new luxury vinyl plank flooring. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking in house, with all new cookware, dishware, utensils, etc. All the comforts of home. The dining area opens into the main living room which features a stone fireplace. Our home has two king beds, one queen bed, and a bunk bed. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with 40” – 48” flat screens in each. Both king bedrooms and the queen bedroom have adjacent baths. The downstairs king bedroom shares the large bathroom with the bunk bedroom. Big Mountain Resort has an outdoor swimming pool with an in-the-works remodeled clubhouse that includes a game room and showers. The pool and clubhouse are open to all guests 24/7 Memorial Day through Labor Day. Easily accessible with all paved roads, in the wilderness of the Great Smoky Mountains yet within minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and all the attractions. Food City is within 2 miles away and features a full service meat department, deli, bakery, pharmacy, Starbucks, gas station and café.
Road Conditions to This Cabin: Easily accessible, curvy, slight incline
IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day
*4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
*10am - There is NO check out “to do list” for your departure, you are on vacation & you should enjoy it to the last minute without having to do any “chores”.

*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions.
*Well Water: Most of our cabins are on well water. Well water here in the Smoky Mountains sometimes has a different feel to it and often times a slight sulfur smell and often times has a brown color. Well water is safe to drink and to use for bathing and to cook with. We do have water systems on any cabins that have these issues, but keep in mind, it may smell and feel different than what you are used to. Also, some of our wells take time to recoup themselves after a lot of water has been used. This is a common problem in this area and there are times you may have to use water sparingly or wait for the water pressure to rebuild.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.

*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4nights + tax + cleaning fee + damage fee + Bear Tootin fee($25) - $50 cancelation fee & VRBO service fee.
