If the Wi-Fi does not work, please make sure you are connected to the correct Network with the correct password. Second, please check that the modem wires are properly connected and reset the internet/phone modem. The modem is usually located in one of the guests bedrooms or near the TV. Please disconnect the power cord from the back of the modem and remove batteries (if applicable) for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back into the modem and allow at least 2 minutes to ensure that the reset is complete. When reset is complete, your modem’s connection lights should be solid (not blinking). If this is not working, please contact the front desk during opening hours to schedule a technician to come by. In the living area and bedrooms, you will find a Roku TV. When you turn on the TV, select the input that displays the Roku player. On the Roku remote, press the home button and with the blue arrows you can select which app you want to use/watch. On the app YouTube, you can watch Live TV. Please note that the Roku Remotes are programmed for each individual TV and it will NOT work in the other rooms. Your Vacation Rental offers Free phone calls in the USA and Canada. Any calls made through the phone operator will be billed to your account.  Feel free to use the Kitchen! However, when leaving for a fun filled day, make sure the oven, stove and coffee maker are turned off to prevent fires! Please do not leave food out that will attract un-invited guests.This home is pest-free and we would like to keep it that way with your help. Garbage disposal: your kitchen is equipped with a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink. The garbage disposal can shred most soft foods like the inside of an orange, but not the orange peel. Make sure you always run the water when turning on the garbage disposal when using. Also, please be aware that small spoons and beer bottle caps can break the unit. Ice-maker: your fridge is equipped with an automatic ice cube maker. Make sure that the metal lever-switch inside the freezer/ ice-maker is in the downward position to produce ice cubes. The ice maker will automatically turn off when basket is filled with ice cubes. You will have full access to the washer & dryer if you need to do any laundry. Extra towels and bed linen can be found in the bedroom and bathroom closets. There are locks on the bedroom / bathroom doors. In case of any doors locking you out, please check on top of ALL the door ledges for a small key to open the locks. There is usually one of these keys located inside the house. (you can also use the tip of a steak knife)  In the guest’s bathroom you will find a shower/tub   combination.  To make the water come from the shower head, you will   need to pull the ring of the bottom faucet down. Please do not depose any sanitary products, plastics, flush-able wipes, paper towels etc. down the toilet to prevent plumbing backups. There is a toilet plunger available in the house, for when a toilet is clogged. If this does not work, please contact the front desk during opening hours to schedule a maintenance employee to come by. This Villa has an Air Conditioning / Heating unit. To COOL: make sure the system is set to “COOL”. Turn the Fan position to “AUTO”. Set the temperature. These Air conditioners are designed to lower the temperature of your home’s air by about 20 degrees of the outside temperature. We recommend setting the Temperature to 75 – 78 F in the Summer and make sure all doors and windows are closed. When the Air Conditioner is set to a lower temperature, the unit will constantly run, which will increase the chance of the unit overheating and breaking down on the days when you need it the most! Sometimes the Air-conditioning unit needs a reset. Please turn “OFF” the system and set the Fan position to “ON” After 2 hours, please turn the system to “COOL” and set the temperature 3 degrees lower than the display temperature. Once this temperature is reached, please lower another 3 degrees and so on. Please contact the front desk during opening hours, or the emergency phone during after hours, when the AC unit is malfunctioning, to schedule a technician to come by. To HEAT: make sure the system is set to “HEAT”. Turn the Fan position to “AUTO”. Set the temperature. We recommend setting the Temperature to 72 – 75 F in the Winter and make sure all doors and windows are closed. Incase the unit is not warming up, please set the system to “EMER” which is the emergency heater, only to be used in emergencies. Notify the front desk during opening hours. In case of a whole house power outage, you can report the problem to the electric company by visiting the storm-center website: https://secoenergy.com/stormcenter/ just provide them with the phone number of the property and you will be able to report and check the outage status. In case of a power outage of a certain area in the house, please check the breaker box in the garage and make sure all breakers are correct. In case of an electric outlet not working, please reset ALL GFI outlets located in the kitchen and bathrooms by pushing the reset button in the middle of the outlet. If these trouble shoots do not work, please contact the front desk during opening hours, for a technician to come by. This Accommodation is a non-smoking Vacation Rental. If you need to smoke, please do so outside and dispose of your cigarettes afterwards. Pets are not permitted at or within the Vacation Rental Property unless previously approved and listed on your reservation confirmation. There will be a fine when we find evidence of pets after your stay. Quiet hours are from 11 pm to 8 am and parties are strictly FORBIDDEN. For any noise complaints during these hours, please contact the non-emergency line of our sheriff’s department. Garbage Pick Up is on Tuesday Morning. Please put the garbage can at the curb on your drive way. We recommend to do this the night before, as some times the truck comes as early as 5.30 AM in the morning. Parking: The owner of this home as a motor cycle in the garage that is for owners use only. You are more than welcome to park your car besides it inside the garage or outside on the drive way.

Van Der Valk Golf Resort Inverness will process cancellations and refund monies received up to sixty (60) days prior to arrival date. Reservation cancellations made sixty (60) days prior to arrival date will be charged a $250.00 processing & cancellation fee and the fee will be deducted from the initial deposit/payment. All fees are subject to local and state taxes. Reservation cancellations made within thirty (30) days prior to arrival date will result in forfeiture of all monies received. Reservations made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date will be nonrefundable. Van Der Valk Golf Resort Inverness does not issue refunds for cancellations made within thirty (30) days prior to arrival date. Any and all cancellation refunds are paid to renter by CSA Travel Protection. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE THIS COVERAGE NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR CANCELLATIONS. Your purchase of CSA Travel Protection is calculated at 6.95% of the rental rate plus reservation fee and taxes.
