Welcome to the Rose of Georgetown, where the Old West meets Victorian charm. This historic home has 3 bedrooms with lots of space for you to stretch out and relax after a day of outdoor adventure like hiking, fishing, snowshoeing, and skiing. One our our favorite things is exploring Guanella Pass Scenic Byway looking for big horn sheep, moose, elk and more.
This recently updated, cozy rental will bring you back to the days when Georgetown was the world's capitol of silver mining and the town was call was often called the Silver Queen. Georgetown is a picturesque time-capsule-of-a-town that’s nestled into the mountains, just 45 miles west of Denver on Interstate 70. More than 200 Victorian-era structures still stand here — making it one of the best-preserved 19th-century boom towns in the American West. First built in 1875, this historic building had a store located on the first floor, and living quarters on the second, but then quickly became the Intercontinental Hotel. It had a number of names, through the years, but most folks remember it as the St. James Hotel or more recently as the Dusty Rose Tea Room.
