“Swedish Cottage on Fall River” is a cozy, tiny home and perfect respite for 1-2 people (adults only please), nestled amongst idyllic Colorado mountains. It is located an easy 1/4 mile from I-70, making this the perfect launchpad for your CO adventures.
This charmer is situated above a detached garage, and overlooks Fall River. Enjoy Colorado's 300+ days of sunshine on the lovely deck with a grill and multiple seating areas. Or, after a full day of relaxing or adventures, soak in the hot tub, lounge next to the gas fire pit, or enjoy a glass of wine in the Adirondack chairs adjacent to the river. The outdoor living areas of this tiny home offer HUGE appeal.
The interior of this cottage has been lovingly designed with simplicity in mind, honoring a reduced ecological footprint and a nod to Swedish style. It's a tiny home with big comfort. If you need to do a load of laundry while staying here, use the compact all-in-one washer/dryer. Your options for cooking at the home include a gas BBQ grill on the deck, toaster oven, microwave, and a hot plate. (Please note: this cottage does not have a stove/oven.) While the intention of this cottage is to offer a place to unplug and unwind, there is Wi-Fi.
This cottage is located in Idaho Springs, where gold was first discovered in CO in 1859. Downtown retains much of its old, wild west charm, honoring its rich mining heritage with carefully preserved museums and historic sites, including Argo Gold Mine and Mill. Miner Street, lined with fabulous local restaurants / breweries, locally-owned boutiques. This home is located a short 4-minute drive to Miner Street! Idaho Springs is a small town with big personality, including mine tours, rafting trips, zip lining, hiking, Indian Hot Springs, family parks and more…
The main home on the property is also a small vacation rental that accommodates 1-2 people. These two rentals share available parking, sitting areas by the river, and the hot tub.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event that you must cancel your reservation, please be aware that cancellations must occur at least 30 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation occurs 30 days or more prior to arrival date all monies will be refunded with the exception of a $100 administrative fee. GUESTS THAT DO NOT CANCEL WITHIN THE 30-DAY TIME FRAME WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT. Travel Insurance is recommended, especially when traveling in the winter in CO.
