Garage Door Code - 5200 Lock Box- 5201 Internet -> Netgear87 Password -> littlegadfly656   Thank you for choosing to vacation at - 1610 Sunburst Dr. Unit 25   We are very pleased you have chosen to make our Vail Townhome your home in the mountains! Our hope is that you have a wonderful time, and create a lifetime of memories! We ask that you enjoy all that this wonderful setting has to offer, and treat it as you would treat your very own home.   To make your stay as enjoyable as possible, please review the following info-   Directions –   If you are coming in on I-70, West bound (from Denver, or the airport): take exit 180, turn right and then take an immediate left and continue West 2.5 miles on the North Frontage Road East.  On your left, you will see a bridge over the creek.  That is Vail Valley Drive.  Take a left at the bridge on Vail Valley Drive.  Follow Vail Valley Drive about ¼ of a mile. You will come to an intersection with a road coming down the hill on the right.  Continue straight (the road now becomes Sunburst Drive) about 100 yards and take your first left.  You will be turning into the parking lot of 4 townhomes.  Ours is the third home on the left à  Unit 25.   If you are coming in on I-70 East bound (from Avon):  take exit 176.  At the round-about, go right and take the 3rd exit and continue East on the South Frontage Road East.  Continue 1.3 miles on the frontage road and turn right at the bridge on to Vail Valley Drive. Parking - We have a heated two car garage and there is plenty of room on the front tarmac to park other cars.  We have found it best to park only one car in the garage, because we have a bench on the left side of the garage.  The bench is a perfect place to put on shoes, ski boots, and coats and so on, before you head outside.  If you are parking vehicles on the tarmac, it’s best to put them in the front west corner, or up against the trees.  This allows vehicles from all units to come and go without being blocked by other cars.   Access to the Unit - There is a lockbox located on the right hand side of the garage door frame we have 2 keys in the lockbox. The front door is a bit hard to unlock the deadbolt, because of the weather stripping around the door.  We typically enter the code (see the box on the left side of the garage door, about shoulder high) for the garage door (5200 & enter) and then go in through the garage.  Make sure that the garage door is shut after you enter it.    The button to close, or open, the garage door is about shoulder level on the right of the entry door going from the garage into the unit. Toiletries- We supply the initial personal size shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, body wash and lotion, if you have not purchased any daily service these supplies will not be replenished during your stay.   Skis, Ski-boots and Snowboards - Please keep all skis, snowboards, ski-boots, ski poles, ice skates and other outdoor equipment in the garage.  This equipment can really damage the floors, stairs and walls inside the unit.   Living Room – Living Room TV – The Comcast remote, Surround-sound remote (Yamaha) and the TV remote (LG) are on the cabinet next to the fireplace.    To turn on the TV - Open the middle doors of the cabinet that contains the electronic equipment for Xfinity, the Yamaha receiver / amplifier, internet modem and internet router. Take the surround-sound remote (Yamaha) and point it at the Yamaha amplifier and turn the amplifier on (top right button – red) The Yamaha amplifier should display “HDMI2 – STB Refsw Desi” on the front panel. If it does not display this, press the “Input “ keys (just opposite the Volume keys)until the amplifier front panel displays “HDMI 2”.  Then the front panel will be displaying “STB Refsw Desi”. Now take the Comcast remote (grey), point it towards the cabinet containing the electronics and push the red “All On” button.  This should turn on the Comcast receiver and the TV. The Comcast receiver will display a small blue light when it is on. If the TV does not come on, take the LG remote, point it at the TV and push the on button.  (this only happens rarely, but it is good to know). To adjust the sound on the surround sound system, use the “Vol” button on the Xfinity remote or the white volume buttons on the Yamaha remote.  To turn off the TV; Take the grey Xfinity remote, point it at the Comcast receiver, with the blue light, and push the red “All On” button.    The surround system can also play radio or Bluetooth radio.   . . . . .   Livingroom sliding door to the front deck - In the winter, leave the sliding door closed and locked.  The roof has falling snow and also rather large ice cycles will form from the roof overhead, and they can be quite dangerous if they fall.  So, please leave the sliding door closed and locked.    Fire Extinguishers – Fire extinguishers can be found; In the main level Laundry Room, on the floor In the Garage just inside the entrance door from the unit, on the left side, just inside the door. In the Master Bedroom closet, on the shelf.  Master Bedroom - To turn on the TV; Use the “Infinity” remote, which should be on the night stand by the bed. Point the remote at the small Xfinity box on the end of the desk and press “All Power”.  This should start the TV.  If the TV is turned on and the screen remains dark, check the “input” of the TV.  There are multiple options on the TV to bring in the signal from the cable box. Use the black remote that is labelled “Sharp”, which matches the brand of the TV. Push the “Input” button, located in about the center of the remote.  The TV will bring up a dialogue box labelled “INPUT SOURCE”.  Use the buttons that surround the “ENTER” button and scroll the yellow square so that it highlights “8 STB Refsw Design”. Push “Enter”.  The Master Bedroom has a small KEURIG coffee maker that allows a quick cup of coffee without having to go out of the master bedroom.  To operate it; Turn the KEURIG on by pushing the button, about half the way up on the Keurig, on the right, Select a coffee cup and fill it about ¾ full of water, Open the black plastic lid, on the top and pour in the water, and close the top, Lift up the silver handle labelled “KEURIG” on the front.  While the silver handle is up, the water drains into the coffee maker.  So keep the handle up until all of the water has drained from the top compartment into the coffee maker. Take out the old coffee cartridge and place in a new one, and close the silver cartridge handle, Push the silver button, labelled “BREW”, on the top right.  That starts the brewing process. Push the Blue Button that has two squares on it, (it is on the right side and in the center of the remote).  Keep re-pushing the Blue Button until “CATV CH-4” shows on the upper right of the screen. The TV will work on the cable.  Loft - The loft has two queen beds.   Lower Level Bedroom - To turn on the TV Use the black “Infinity” remote; Point the remote at the small Xfinity box on the counter top by the TV and press “All Power” (top center). Use the buttons that surround the “ENTER” button and scroll the yellow square so that it highlights “4 INPUT4”. Push “Enter”.  Kitchen- There is a trash compactor to the left of the sink.  Only put metal cans, paper and cardboard in the trash compactor. DO NOT PUT GLASS, FOOD OR ANY CONTAINER WITH FOOD OR LIQUID IN THE TRASH COMPACTOR. Trash bags, for the compactor, are on shelf by the washer and dryer.  Dining Room- The dining room table has two extensions.  They are stored under the bed in the lower bedroom. We try to keep extra bags to use when shopping.  They are in the “box storage bins’ on the left side of the garage.  Please return them after you use them.  Bus Service- There are two bus routes that are convenient for this unit. The Vail Golf Course Bus goes by the front of the townhome on its’ way to the final stop at the golf course clubhouse. This allows you to watch out the front windows to see the bus go by.  You can then, quickly, pull on your coats, grab your equipment  and walk across the street to the bus stop in time for the bus to pull up to the bus stop. In the winter, this bus goes to the Golden Peak lift up to about 10:30 AM.  After that time it does not go past Golden Peak on its return, because it returns down the frontage road and returns to the Vail Transportation center. So, if you want a convenient ride to a lift that usually has no lines, catch the bus to Golden Peak before 10 AM. The East Vail Bus goes down and returns down the frontage road.  You can catch this bus on the frontage road right by the bridge where Vail Valley Drive intersects the North Frontage Road (about ¼ mile walk). This bus runs quite frequently, typically every 15 to 20 minutes up to 8 PM and then every 30 minutes after that up to1:30 AM.  It is always good to confirm the bus schedule.  The bus schedule can be accessed at; www.vailgov.com/bus-schedules  Pets   No pets.   Departure- When it's time for you to depart, please be sure to; -    put the key back into the lock-box, -    leave all used towels and linens on the bathroom floors,   Contact-  If you need anything inside the condo, or have questions, just call Rent Vail 1-866-823-7368.   We certainly hope you enjoy your stay in Vail.
