As its name suggests, Endless View looks out over lush woodlands toward the Great Smoky Mountains, a seemingly unending panorama of beauty. But the three-bedroom log cabin offers plenty more as well: a convenient location, an outdoor hot tub, a pool table, free WiFi, and other amenities.
Each of Endless View’s three floors has its own master suite, and each suite has a king-size bed, a full bathroom, plenty of storage, and a TV. As a result, the cabin can accommodate several couples or families vacationing together as comfortably as it can a family. And if the three bedrooms aren’t enough, sofas in the main floor’s great room and the downstairs game room can convert into beds for two, so that up to ten people can spend the night.
The great room is spacious enough that the whole gang can gather together, and its double-height vaulted ceiling and wall of windows keep the ambience airy and open. Whether you’re nestling on the leather couches as you watch a movie on the 46” LCD HDTV with cable and a DVD player, gathering around the gas fireplace after an afternoon of skiing or snowboarding, or curling up in an armchair with that book you’ll finally get a chance to read, you’ll feel right at home.
Behind the living area is the dining table, which can seat at least six, and the fully equipped kitchen. Full-size refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, pots, pans, tableware, even dishwasher: Endless View’s kitchen has it all. There’s also a charcoal grill outside, should you be in the mood for some home-cooked barbecue, as well as a table on the main deck so that you can dine alfresco.
If you’re having trouble rounding everyone up for dinner, chances are good that they’re downstairs in the game room. The full-size billiard table takes center stage, but the room also has a TV and a PlayStation 2. You’ll find a washer and dryer downstairs as well, so you can run a load of laundry while shooting pool.
We’ve saved the best part of Endless View for last: the two large covered decks, both of which let you admire the mountains in all their glory. Come out in the morning to watch the sunrise while sipping coffee in one of the gliders; time your dinner so that you can watch the sunset as you tuck in at the picnic table; enjoy a midnight soak in the hot tub under the silvery moon as crickets and whip-poor-wills serenade you.
Because Endless View is part of the Black Bear Falls Log Home Community, you’ll have free access to its clubhouse and, in the summer, its heated adult and kids’ pools. And year-round you can take advantage of the cabin’s proximity to everything that Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have to offer. In less than ten minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to mini golf, an aquarium, the Guinness World Records Museum, and more (including the state’s oldest pancake house!). Also close by are the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, which you can explore on foot, on bike, by car, and even on horseback; the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area; and the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops offering everything from stained glass to chainsaw art, custom knives to pottery. Even Dollywood is less than a half-hour drive.

Rent and Fees for the Property are as follows: A reservation deposit of $300 or $1000 (if total amount is more than $4000) is required (the “Reservation Deposit”). This must be paid at the time of booking.
The Reservation Deposit shall be applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 48 hours of booking.
(a) If the Property becomes unavailable to the Guest prior to occupancy, due to no actions, negligence or fault of Manager or its agents (“unavailability” under this Agreement is more particularly described herein as “owner occupied”, occupied by guests of owner, occupants of owners guests)Manager agrees, in these circumstances only, to refund the full amount paid to the date of cancellation, and Guest agrees to release any and all claims against Manager and its agents or affiliates. Nonetheless, in the event of such other unavailability of a rental property for other unforeseen or natural circumstances, including but in no way limited to: where such road/bridges prevents a particular access to a rental property or is obstructed from the institution of curfews or roadblocks by a county, HOA, city or municipality, through no fault of Manager or its agents, Manager agrees to use its best efforts to accommodate the Guest by reserving the right to move, relocate, reassign or change the rental property, and Guest agrees that under said circumstances does not warrant in any way justify a refund or reimbursement of rental monies under this Agreement.However, the Manager in its sole discretion may provide a refund or reimbursement of certain rental monies to the Guest if any and all efforts to accommodate Guest have been exhausted.
(b) If, for any reason, the Guest cancels this Agreement after (48) hours from the reservation date, the reservation monies received will not be refunded which is any monies applied up to the date of the cancellation will be forfeited. Guests are given (48) hours from time of booking to cancel reservation without penalty, and receive a full refund of rental monies.
(c) No refund or reimbursement of rental monies paid under this Agreement is due to Guest or its occupants (or will be made) for inclement weather. “Unforeseeable” circumstances may arise which make it impossible or impractical for Manager to provide the anticipated accommodations to Guest.
Such circumstances may include, but not be limited to, scheduling problems, roadblocks, curfews, equipment failures, as well as a fire or other casualty at the Premises. In such a circumstance, Manager reserves the exclusive right to transfer Guest and/or its occupants to another vacation rental property of reasonably comparable value, determined in the sole discretion of Manager, whose determination shall be final. In other circumstances such as acts of God, acts of war, acts of terrorism, hurricanes, wind storms, tornadoes, fires or snow or other natural occurrences, said circumstances not being exclusive, it may be impossible or impractical for Manager to make available reasonable or other alternative accommodations to Guest.In such a circumstance, Manager may return or provide a reimbursement of the payments received from Guest.
Travel or Vacation Insurance is highly recommended to be obtained by Guest, however, Manager makes no warrants or representations to Guest relating to any amounts refunded by Travel or Vacation Insurance. Guest and parties listed above must comply with any and all mandatory evacuation orders, if any.
(d) Cancellations, abandonment or early departure by the guest at the rental property for any reason (excluding mandatory evacuation ) do not warrant any refund of rent to Guest. In the event of a mandatory evacuation order issued by a county or otherwise, Guest agrees to comply with such order, and Manager after attempting to move, relocate or reassign Guest to a comparable or similar rental property, may agree in this specific circumstance to refund, credit or reimburse Guest of rental monies for only the dates affected by the mandatory evacuation. Guest understands and agrees that a partial refund of rental monies may be justified by Manager for only such dates associated with the mandatory evacuation, and no other reimbursement of rent will be approved.
(e) Unforeseen Circumstances. If the subject Property becomes unavailable [as described in section (9) herein, or uninhabitable for any reason, Manager reserves the right to: (i) move/relocate the Guest to a comparable or similar rental property, or (ii) cancel this Agreement without penalty and pending a full or partial return of Guest(s)’s monies depending on the circumstances, and at sole discretion of Manager.
Further, Manager cannot be held liable for any acts of nature or major mechanical failures that would prohibit or limit the use of subject rental property. Guest understands and further agrees that the health of Guest or their guests or children does not constitute grounds for refund.
Travel Insurance: Guest may have the option to purchase travel insurance from a third party company providing such insurance. Payment for travel insurance is due at the time of booking. Such insurance is optional. Upon filing a Guest claim, all rents and other charges are fully due and payable to Manager. Any refund to be issued will be handled through the Travel Insurance Company only.
