A log cabin for two located at the end of a private drive, Beyond Paradise is designed for relaxation and romance.You and your sweetheart can while away the hours luxuriating in the outdoor hot tub or the indoor Jacuzzi, snuggling in front of the fireplace, and sipping drinks on the deck swing beneath the star-studded sky. And when you want a change of scenery, you can head to action-packed downtown Gatlinburg; it’s only ten minutes away.

As you pull into Beyond Paradise’s paved driveway, you’ll understand how appropriate the cabin’s name is. Perched atop a ridge and nestled among towering trees, the cabin offers exceptional privacy. The only sounds you’re likely to hear are singing wrens and warblers in the day and serenading whip-poor-wills and tree frogs at night. A table for two on the front lawn allows you to enjoy your meals out among the birdsong and the fresh mountain breezes. Or kick back on one of the back porch’s rockers with a frosty drink—relaxation is practically guaranteed. The porch’s swing is ideal for both of you to snuggle amid the silvery sheen of the moonlight, listening to owls hooting in the woods. And for the ultimate in alfresco luxury, there’s the deck’s hot tub. After a day of hiking, skiing, or biking, a long soak will have your tired muscles feeling as good as new.

Beyond Paradise has a jetted tub indoors as well, in the spacious bedroom. The tub is designed for two, so you can enjoy the massaging jets of steamy water with your sweetie before climbing into the king-size bed. The lustrous wood-planked walls, the vaulted ceiling, and the rustic furnishings definitely add to the romantic ambience. All that’s left is to play your favorite music on the cabin’s CD player.

The living area has the same elevated woodsy vibe. The stone-surround gas fireplace bathes the wood walls and cathedral ceiling in a golden glow on chilly winter evenings. Sprawl out on the plush sofa to watch a movie on the flat-screen TV with cable or settle back in an armchair to surf the web via the free WiFi. In addition to the comfortable contemporary seating, Beyond Paradise boasts plenty of antique and artisanal furnishings, making the cabin even more special and inviting.

The open kitchen includes all your major appliances and plenty of minor ones as well, such as a coffeemaker, a toaster, and a blender (did someone say margaritas?). There’s a full array of cookware and tableware too, plus a charcoal grill outside. When you don’t want to eat outdoors, you can do so at the restaurant-style booth just off the kitchen, outfitted with a table, benches, and even lace curtains. After dinner, shoot some pool in the game room—no need to head to town for your evening entertainment.

When you arrive at Beyond Paradise, you’ll find the bed beautifully made up and plenty of clean towels in the bathroom, which features a roomy shower. Among other conveniences, the cabin has its own washer and dryer.

Its greatest convenience, however, is no doubt its proximity to the area’s attractions. Just ten minutes away is downtown Gatlinburg, home to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Guinness World Records Adventure, mountain coasters and other thrill rides, distilleries, arcades, mini golf, restaurants, shops, and more. The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of galleries, shops, and studios, is just as close. You can drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in fifteen minutes and to Dollywood in twenty.

Pets are not allowed in your rental at any time. This applies to anyone in your group including local visitors. Bringing a pet into a non-pet friendly rental can result in eviction without refund and additional charges to your credit card for cleaning and damages.

Refund Policy

Rent and Fees for the Property are as follows: A reservation deposit of $300 or $1000 (if total amount is more than $4000) is required (the “Reservation Deposit”). This must be paid at the time of booking.
The Reservation Deposit shall be applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 48 hours of booking.

Cancellations:

(a) If the Property becomes unavailable to the Guest prior to occupancy, due to no actions, negligence or fault of Manager or its agents (unavailability” under this Agreement is more particularly described herein as “owner occupied”, occupied by guests of owner, occupants of owners guests)Manager agrees, in these circumstances only, to refund the full amount paid to the date of cancellation, and Guest agrees to release any and all claims against Manager and its agents or affiliates. Nonetheless, in the event of such other unavailability of a rental property for other unforeseen or natural circumstances, including but in no way limited to: where such road/bridges prevents a particular access to a rental property or is obstructed from the institution of curfews or roadblocks by a county, HOA, city or municipality, through no fault of Manager or its agents, Manager agrees to use its best efforts to accommodate the Guest by reserving the right to move, relocate, reassign or change the rental property, and Guest agrees that under said circumstances does not warrant in any way justify a refund or reimbursement of rental monies under this Agreement.However, the Manager in its sole discretion may provide a refund or reimbursement of certain rental monies to the Guest if any and all efforts to accommodate Guest have been exhausted.

(b) If, for any reason, the Guest cancels this Agreement after (48) hours from the reservation date, the reservation monies received will not be refunded which is any monies applied up to the date of the cancellation will be forfeited. Guests are given (48) hours from time of booking to cancel reservation without penalty, and receive a full refund of rental monies.

(c) No refund or reimbursement of rental monies paid under this Agreement is due to Guest or its occupants (or will be made) for inclement weather. “Unforeseeable” circumstances may arise which make it impossible or impractical for Manager to provide the anticipated accommodations to Guest.
Such circumstances may include, but not be limited to, scheduling problems, roadblocks, curfews, equipment failures, as well as a fire or other casualty at the Premises. In such a circumstance, Manager reserves the exclusive right to transfer Guest and/or its occupants to another vacation rental property of reasonably comparable value, determined in the sole discretion of Manager, whose determination shall be final. In other circumstances such as acts of God, acts of war, acts of terrorism, hurricanes, wind storms, tornadoes, fires or snow or other natural occurrences, said circumstances not being exclusive, it may be impossible or impractical for Manager to make available reasonable or other alternative accommodations to Guest.In such a circumstance, Manager may return or provide a reimbursement of the payments received from Guest.
Travel or Vacation Insurance is highly recommended to be obtained by Guest, however, Manager makes no warrants or representations to Guest relating to any amounts refunded by Travel or Vacation Insurance. Guest and parties listed above must comply with any and all mandatory evacuation orders, if any.

(d) Cancellations, abandonment or early departure by the guest at the rental property for any reason (excluding mandatory evacuation ) do not warrant any refund of rent to Guest. In the event of a mandatory evacuation order issued by a county or otherwise, Guest agrees to comply with such order, and Manager after attempting to move, relocate or reassign Guest to a comparable or similar rental property, may agree in this specific circumstance to refund, credit or reimburse Guest of rental monies for only the dates affected by the mandatory evacuation. Guest understands and agrees that a partial refund of rental monies may be justified by Manager for only such dates associated with the mandatory evacuation, and no other reimbursement of rent will be approved.

(e) Unforeseen Circumstances. If the subject Property becomes unavailable [as described in section (9) herein, or uninhabitable for any reason, Manager reserves the right to: (i) move/relocate the Guest to a comparable or similar rental property, or (ii) cancel this Agreement without penalty and pending a full or partial return of Guest(s)’s monies depending on the circumstances, and at sole discretion of Manager.
Further, Manager cannot be held liable for any acts of nature or major mechanical failures that would prohibit or limit the use of subject rental property. Guest understands and further agrees that the health of Guest or their guests or children does not constitute grounds for refund.

Travel Insurance: Guest may have the option to purchase travel insurance from a third party company providing such insurance. Payment for travel insurance is due at the time of booking. Such insurance is optional. Upon filing a Guest claim, all rents and other charges are fully due and payable to Manager. Any refund to be issued will be handled through the Travel Insurance Company only.

The travel protection, if purchased, includes insurance coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Baggage Delay, Baggage and Personal Effects, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Emergency Assistance, Medical or Dental Expense, and Rental Car Damage.
